Our Message

The Better Living Center is committed to meeting the community need for education in natural and biblical approaches toward preventing, reversing and improving the outcome of lifestyle diseases that are prevalent in our inner-city community. The Better Living Center offers unique solutions to the problems in that it is focused on “natural” solutions, improving diet and exercise to improve the health outcomes. The medicines are inexpensive and widely available, fresh air, sunshine, water, good nutrition, exercise, trust, rest, and temperance. The Better Living center will focus on working with organizations that are working on the issues in our East Oakland community.

Spreading the Message of Health and Wellness In our Church and Community

Community Events and Health Fairs

Our mobile health van travels with a team of volunteers to provide medical testing, lifestyle analysis, fitness and body metrics analysis, and prayer support.
Seminars and Workshops

We conduct seminars such as Creation Health Seminar, Reversing Diabetes, Weight Control, Vegetarian Cooking schools and various other training sessions both in person and via Zoom. Many of the workshops are published on our YouTube channel.
Support and Exercise

We provide ongoing support for those making lifestyle changes with a monthly Health Speakers Series, and a 1st Sunday walking group and vegeterian breakfast.
